I get mildly amused when I watch the Antiques Roadshow when an expert says “This painting is so good it looks like a photo” because people often say that my photos look like paintings. Tony O’Connor is doing a couple of painting from my photos and people are commenting on how good they are and they are truly stunning.  It’s funny how the 2 arts are very separate but they hold so much common ground.  Both groups of artists seek to capture light.  Both groups are careful about composition and both groups try to capture a feeling.  Here’s some of mine.
