This morning promised a little mist and bright start to the day so I thought I would try and find my favourite Red Deer Stags in the New Forest. The 4 that I have been photographing over the last few years seem to have gone missing this summer and I couldn’t find them today either. On the plus side this lovely New Forest Pony came wandering towards me through the dappled light of the woodland and even though she could use a bit of a brush I thought she looked great in the morning light.
As well as getting a great sunrise I also got a couple of fallow deer with their fawns. Looks like the second has had a white buck as a boyfriend.
