Large Hand Carved and Lacquered Lamp by Christian Wallis

From the initial block of wood thin layers are sliced, rotated and bonded. The new block is then hand carved and given around 30 coats of lacquer and then finished with a bespoke hand made silk shade. Lamps can be commissioned in various woods and stains and are ready in 5-6 weeks. Christian can even use a piece of your own wood if suitable.
